ROCKLAND, ON, March 29 /CNW/ - As part of its commitment to building a
strong presence in Canada's many diverse and growing communities, TD Canada
Trust today announced the grand opening of its branch located at 2620
Chamberland Street in Rockland. The new branch offers a wide array of products
and services as well four Financial Service Representatives and a professional
TD Waterhouse Financial Planner dedicated to helping customers meet their
financial goals.
"This new branch confirms TD Canada Trust's commitment to face-to-face
customer service. Customers tell us that they like the option of being able to
talk to someone in person, and to have someone available to listen to their
needs," said Roger Haddad, Branch Manager. "Rockland has quickly become a very
attractive area to live with over 10,000 people, and is located approximately
35 km east of Ottawa. There are many new businesses in Rockland where the
trade area is expected to grow by over 5% in the next five years. We're
delighted to be able to provide the kind of service customers want at our new
branch in Rockland."
TD Canada Trust is dedicated to providing customers with a comfortable
banking experience - offering the products and services they want, when they
want it, in a way they understand and appreciate. For example, TD Canada Trust
offers services in multiple languages, both in branch and at its ABMs
(automated banking machines).
The new 4,300 square foot branch has been designed and built taking into
consideration the accessibility needs of our customers. The new branch also
features eight private sit-down areas as well as one full-service vestibule
Green Machine ABM and one Drive through ABM, which are accessible 24 hours a
day.
At 12:00 noon today, Richard Lalonde, Mayor, City of Clarence-Rockland,
Pierre Lemieux, MP, Glengarry-Prescott-Russell, Gary Dunne, Senior Vice
President, Ontario North and East Region, TD Canada Trust and Emily Manolakos,
District Vice President, Ottawa East and Seaway East, TD Canada Trust, will be
on hand to celebrate the grand opening of the branch as well as Branch Manager
Roger Haddad and Alain Bernard of the Rockland Food Bank.
In addition, Roger Haddad will present Alain Bernard with a donation of
$500, on behalf of TD Canada Trust to the Rockland Food Bank. This charitable
organization is dedicated to helping feed those in the Rockland community who
are in need.
Branch hours are from Monday to Wednesday, 9am-6pm, Thursday to Friday,
9am-8pm, and Saturday 9am-3pm.
