MONTREAL, June 8 /CNW/ - TD Canada Trust is proud to celebrate the 100th
anniversary of the St-Lambert branch. The TD Canada Trust branch first opened
in 1907 at 126 Victoria Street.
The St-Lambert branch is among TD Canada Trust's oldest branches. TD
Canada Trust established its first place of business in Québec 147 years ago,
in 1860. "We are very proud to say that one of our oldest TD Canada Trust
branches has a foothold in the community of Saint-Lambert," says Christine
Marchildon, Senior Vice President for TD Canada Trust in Quebec. "With new
branch hours making our services even more convenient for customers, we will
continue to provide the best possible customer service to the residents of
Saint-Lambert." TD Canada Trust recently announced that its branch hours will
be increased across the country starting in November 2007, which includes
opening its doors every Saturday.
Today, the TD Canada Trust branch is located at 572 Victoria Street,
applying the same business principles it did in its beginning and making
customer service quality a priority.
TD Canada Trust has been experiencing steady growth in Québec over recent
years and currently has more than 97 branches in the province. In addition to
being known for its longer hours, TD is also recognized for the quality of its
customer service.
According to the results of a recent survey of clients of the five
largest banks by Synovate, an independent survey company, TD Canada Trust
ranks first among the five major banks in the country for its quality of
service two years in a row. Also, for the second year in a row, TD Canada
Trust was recently named the best Internet personal banking services provider
in Canada as part of a world-wide contest organized by Global Finance, an
international financial publication.
