VICTORIA, June 12 /CNW/ - As part of its commitment to building a strong
presence in Canada's many diverse and growing communities; TD Canada Trust
today announced the grand opening of its branch located at 309 Burnside Road W
at the corner of Burnside and Tillicum in Saanich. The new branch offers a
wide array of products and services as well as two Financial Service
Representatives, two Financial Advisors and access to a professional TD
Waterhouse Financial Planner dedicated to helping customers meet their
financial goals.
"This new branch confirms TD Canada Trust's commitment to face-to-face
customer service. Customers tell us that they like the option of being able to
talk to someone in person, and to have someone available to listen to their
needs," said Bob Yarish, Branch Manager. "Gorge Tillicum is a vibrant and
diverse community in South Saanich and we're thrilled to be able to support
the area with extended banking hours and a leading focus on customer service."
TD Canada Trust is dedicated to providing customers with a comfortable

The new 5,000 square foot branch has been designed and built taking into
consideration the accessibility needs of our customers. The new branch also
features ten private sit-down areas as well as one full-service vestibule
Green Machine ABM and one drive-thru ABM, which are accessible 24 hours a day.
At 2:00pm today, Kerry Peacock, Senior Vice President, Pacific Region, TD
Canada Trust and Andrew MacKillop, District Vice President Vancouver Island,
TD Canada Trust, Frank Leonard, Mayor of Saanich, and Vic Derman, Saanich
Councillor will be on hand to celebrate the grand opening of the branch as
well as Branch Manager Bob Yarish Quenton Lehman, Manager, G.R. Pearkes
Recreation Centre and Paul Gerrard, President Gorge Tillicum Community
Association.
In addition, BobYarish will present Quenton Lehman with a donation of
$1000 to G.R. Pearkes Recreation Centre and to Paul Gerrard a donation of $500
to Gorge Tillicum Community Association, on behalf of TD Canada Trust
Branch hours are from Monday to Wednesday, 9am-6pm, Thursday to Friday,
9am-8pm, and Saturday 9am-3pm.
