TD celebrates grand opening with donation to area school education and
literacy programs
SURREY, BC, March 15 /CNW/ - As part of its commitment to building a
strong presence in Canada's many diverse and growing communities, TD Canada
Trust today announced the grand opening of its branch located at 15976 108th
Avenue, at the corner of 160th and 108th in Fraser Heights in Surrey. The new
branch offers a wide array of products and services as well as three Financial
Services Representatives and a Financial Advisor, dedicated to helping
customers meet their financial goals.
"This new branch confirms TD Canada Trust's commitment to face-to-face
customer service. Customers tell us that they like the option of being able to
talk to someone in person, and to have someone available to listen to their
needs," Leanne Martyniuk, Branch Manager. "We are delighted to be able to
provide the kind of service customers want at our new branch at Fraser
Heights, a great neighbourhood with a strong sense of community."
TD Canada Trust is dedicated to providing customers with a comfortable
banking experience - offering the products and services they want, when they
want it, in a way they understand and appreciate. For example, TD Canada Trust
offers services in multiple languages, both in branch and at its ABMs
(automated banking machines).
The new 5,000 square foot branch has been designed and built taking into
consideration the accessibility needs of our customers. The new branch also
features ten private sit-down areas as well as one full-service vestibule
Green Machine ABM, which is accessible 24 hours a day.
At 12 pm today, Tom Gill, Surrey City Councillor & Acting Mayor, Kerry
Peacock, Senior Vice President, Pacific Region, TD Canada Trust and David
Guzzo, District Vice President, TD Canada Trust were on hand to celebrate the
grand opening of the branch as well as Branch Manager Leanne Martyniuk and
Reni Masi, Surrey School District Board Chair.
In addition, Leanne Martyniuk presented Reni Masi with a donation of
$6,000, on behalf of TD Canada Trust to the Surrey School District No. 36,
Fraser Heights Schools. This donation will go towards education and literacy
programs in the four Fraser Heights Elementary schools and a
community/leadership scholarship for Fraser Heights High School.
Branch hours are from Monday to Wednesday, 8am-6pm, Thursday to Friday,
8am-8pm, and Saturday 8am-4pm.
