TD Bank Financial Group Announces Election to Board of Directors

TORONTO, April 3 /CNW/ - TD Bank Financial Group is pleased to announce the election of Nadir Mohamed to its Board of Directors. "We're very pleased to have Nadir join our Board of Directors. His proven track record as an experienced executive and director will bring a valuable perspective to our strategic discussions and debate," said John Thompson, Chairman of the Board, TD Bank Financial Group. "Nadir's extensive business knowledge combined with his financial background makes him a great addition to our Board and Audit Committee." Mr. Mohamed is the President and Chief Operating Officer, Communications Group, Rogers Communications Inc., a diversified Canadian communications and media company. Mr. Mohamed holds an undergraduate degree in Commerce from the University of British Columbia and is a Chartered Accountant. He also serves on the Board of Rogers Communications Inc. and is on the Board of Governors for Ryerson University.
