TORONTO, May 5 /CNW/ - TD Bank Financial Group is donating $25,000 to the Canadian Red Cross Flood Appeal 2008 to support residents affected by the St. John River Flooding in New Brunswick. "This is a difficult time for many of our employees, customers and community members affected by the floods. We're pitching in to help out however we can," said Derrick Cresswell-Clough, District Vice President, TD Canada Trust. "The flood waters won't wash away the strength and resiliency of the community and, by working together, we'll get through this." From May 12 to June 13, 2008, TD Canada Trust branches will accept donations on behalf of the Canadian Red Cross to aid the victims of the St. John River Flooding.
