- TD Canada Trust continues to expand across Canada with 12 brand new branches since November 2007 and more to come - Branches open 50% longer than the other banks TORONTO, June 9 /CNW/ - TD Canada Trust opened its 23rd branch in London, Ontario today. The new branch at the corner of Fanshawe and Hyde Park represents a commitment to the city that gave us Canada Trust, a vital part of TD's heritage. It also represents a commitment of another kind for the bank - a commitment to be the most convenient bank in the country, serving customers with the best locations and the longest hours in Canada. The 12th branch for TD Canada Trust this fiscal year, the new London branch joins others recently opened in Oakville, ON, Richmond Hill, ON, Surrey, BC, Grande Prairie, AB, Beaumont, AB, Edmonton, AB, Candiac, PQ, Windsor, ON, and Saskatoon, SK. All are part of a network that, through rapid growth and a determination to be in the best locations in Canada, is now the second largest in the country. "We're proud to be in so many great locations across Canada," says Tim Hockey, Group Head, Canadian Banking and President and CEO, TD Canada Trust. "These new branches represent more than just a bigger branch network to us. They're a commitment to our customers and our communities, providing great service, longer hours, and local jobs." Each new TD Canada Trust branch features a broad array of personal and small business products and services as well as highly trained TD Canada Trust employees dedicated to helping customers reach their financial goals. A number of branches also feature the services of TD Waterhouse wealth management professionals, including Financial Planners. Branches are designed to be barrier-free and equipped with state-of-the-art, full-service Green Machines featuring the latest in bank machine technology, including greater security features, improved accessibility such as audio guidance for visually impaired customers, and a choice of five languages. "Year after year customers tell us that, though they love the option of banking online, on the phone and at the Green Machine, they still like to come to the branch to meet face to face. Whether they're coming in to do a transaction, discuss a mortgage, review their investments, or talk to a business banking expert, they want that human touch to help make their choices simpler. We're happy to be able to give that to them at conveniently located branches that are open 50% longer than any other bank," adds Hockey. TD Canada Trust's branch hours are Monday to Wednesday, 8am-6pm, Thursday to Friday, 8am-8pm and Saturday, 8am-4pm. In some locations, including our newest branch in London and the two new branches in Windsor, hours are even longer - 8am - 8pm, Monday to Friday and 8am - 4pm on Saturdays.
