TD Visa sends Oshawa firefighter to the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

TORONTO, July 31 /CNW/ - Brian Lansfield, an Oshawa firefighter and his girlfriend, will cheer for our Canadian Olympic athletes, not in front of the TV but in person. Last night, Mr. Lansfield, the lucky winner of a trip for two to the sold out Beijing 2008 Olympic Games in China, received his plane tickets from Jonathan Dilkas, Branch Manager, in a special presentation at his local TD Canada Trust branch in Oshawa. This is one of eight dream vacations that are being given away each month from April until December 2008 during the TD Visa Spend & Win contest. From August 14 to 17, Jade Tours will host a tour to the coastal town of Tianjin including a visit to the top of the observation tower before checking out the local food market and antique shops. After lunch at the Hutong Tower in Beijing the next day, the winners will also get to visit the Lama Temple, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. And no trip to China is complete without a day to explore the Great Wall of China at Badaling before heading home on August 18.
