- TD Canada Trust celebrates the grand opening of its new location in
Vancouver.

activities.
VANCOUVER, Oct. 4 /CNW/ - As part of its commitment to building a strong
presence in Canada's many diverse and growing communities, TD Canada Trust
today announced the grand opening of its new location in Vancouver at 433 West
8th Avenue. The grand opening festivities included a $5,000 donation to False
Creek Watershed Society courtesy of TD Friends of the Environment Foundation,
the kick off for a draw for two bicycles and TD Friends of the Environment
Foundation reusable shopping bags for the first 50 customers.
"There's so much development happening in Vancouver right now, it's
important that we grow along with the city to ensure we're meeting the needs
of our customers," said Cameron Johnson, Branch Manager. "This new convenient
location also offers our famous longer hours and award-winning customer
service furthering our commitment to providing the comfortable banking
experience that our customers have come to know and expect."
At 12:30 p.m. today, Gregor Robertson, Vision Vancouver Candidate for
Mayor, Mike Pride, District Vice President, Vancouver Core District, TD Canada
Trust and Cameron Johnson were on hand for the ribbon cutting and cheque
presentation. Attendees also enjoyed refreshments and children took part in
fun activities.
The new 4,200 square foot branch is wheelchair accessible, features one
full-service Green Machine ABM available 24 hours per day and offers a full
array of personal and small business products and services as well as two
full-time Financial Advisors and one Financial Services Representative. This
new branch is dedicated to helping customers reach their financial goals while
providing a comfortable experience.
As part of TD Canada Trust's longer hours, branch hours are 8:00 a.m. to
6:00 p.m., Monday through Wednesday; 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday and
Friday and 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
