TD Canada Trust sponsors the Ontario Medical Student Weekend in Hamilton

- For the first time, TD Canada Trust is the title sponsor of the annual Ontario Medical Student Weekend. - A weekend for Ontario medical students to develop important skills in clinical workshops, learn from a lineup of accomplished speakers and forge valuable connections with future colleagues and industry partners. HAMILTON, ON, Oct. 16 /CNW/ - For the first time, TD Canada Trust is the title sponsor for the annual Ontario Medical Student Weekend (OMSW). On October 17th and 18th, over 800 medical students will be in Hamilton at McMaster University for the largest academic conference for medical students held in Ontario. Organized by second year Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine students, who will be starting their clerkship in November, the weekend conference is about developing essential leadership, communication, and clinical skills in the workshops; being inspired by an amazing lineup of speakers; and forging valuable connections with future colleagues and important organizations at social events and an Info Fair. This weekend is put on by students for students, which is what makes it so special and relevant," said Su McVey, Vice President, Customer Segments and Strategy.
