LETHBRIDGE, AB, Dec. 3 /CNW/ - TD Canada Trust today announced the grand
opening of its third location in Lethbridge as part of its 1,100+ branch
network in diverse communities across Canada. Located at 2925- 26th Avenue N,
the grand opening festivities included a $5,000 donation courtesy of TD
Friends of the Environment Foundation to the City of Lethbridge, the kick off
for a draw for two bicycles, treats and refreshments.
"Lethbridge is such a great city to live and work in and with this new,
convenient location at 26th Avenue and 28th Street, we're able to make banking
even easier for residents. In order to ensure we're meeting the needs of our
customers, we need to keep up with the continued growth we're experiencing,"
said Catharine Brooks, Branch Manager. "Not only is TD keeping pace in
Lethbridge, but we're also keeping up with the rest of Alberta - we're
offering our famous longer hours and award-winning customer service in new
locations throughout the province with five grand openings in the last week
including the two today in Lethbridge and Airdrie!"
Situated in the developing north end of Lethbridge, the new location
offers a full array of personal and small business products and services as
well as one Financial Advisor and two Financial Services Representatives. This
new branch is dedicated to helping customers reach their financial goals while
providing a comfortable experience.
Today at 11:15 a.m., Doug Semler, District Vice President, Alberta South,
TD Canada Trust and Catharine Brooks, Branch Manager were joined by Mayor Bob
Tarleck to celebrate the grand opening with an official ribbon cutting and
cheque presentation. Guests also enjoyed refreshments, treats and were given a
chance to sit in the famous green chair.
As part of TD Canada Trust's extended hours, branch hours are 8:00 am to
6:00 pm, Monday through Wednesday; 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Thursday and Friday and
8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday. The new 5,000 square foot branch is wheelchair
accessible and features one full-service Green Machine ABM and one Drive-Thru
Green Machine ABM which are available 24 hours per day.
