The HUNT is on! TD Money Lounge premiers five-part job hunting series on Facebook

- The HUNT will provide tips and tools to help students find work in a challenging job market. TORONTO, March 26 /CNW/ - Today on Facebook, TD Canada Trust launched the first of a five part mini web series called The HUNT on TD Money Lounge (http://www.tdmoneylounge.com). The HUNT is a series featuring interviews with a range of various experts, employers and students that address common concerns, and questions about finding a job in tough economic times. "There are jobs out there, it's just a little tougher to find them" says Debra Milstein, Vice President, Customer Segments & Strategy Marketing, TD Bank Financial Group. "We're hoping that The HUNT will give our TD Money Lounge members, both students and graduates, a bit of an edge." The series includes information about how to build your personal brand, resume writing, interview skills, options in a slumping economy and much more. With summer only a couple months away, many students are starting to feel pressured to secure that all-important summer job or internship. Yet others will be graduating and looking to launch their careers in an uncertain job market. "The five-part series begins with an episode on building your personal brand, something that many students don't place enough importance on," says Milstein. "The experts we spoke to say it's something that can truly make you stand out among your competitors when interviewing for a job." Tips from the first episode available on TD Money Lounge: - Understand the importance of personal branding: it allows you to market yourself and stand out among your competitors - Your online personal brand is important.
