TD Canada Trust Jazz Festivals: Bringing people and communities together with music

- TD is celebrating six years of bringing jazz to Canadians and continuing its strong commitment to the communities across the country TORONTO, June 25 /CNW/ - TD Canada Trust Jazz Festivals bring sounds of optimism to communities across the country at times when it is needed most. "We began supporting these festivals six years ago because like jazz TD Canada Trust is committed to providing a comfortable experience, so it was a natural fit," says Tim Hockey, Group Head, Canadian Banking and President and CEO, TD Canada Trust. "We're happy to be a part of something that allows people to connect with one another, feel good and just enjoy themselves." In addition to the concerts throughout the festival, TD Canada Trust will present a youth outreach program to showcase Canada's rising jazz artists. Participants across the country will have an opportunity to learn from some of the headlining musicians with the chance to perform during the festival's closing weekend. And, we haven't forgotten about our little 'jazz-cats'. The TD Friends of the Environment Foundation Monster Murals want kids to get their hands dirty and express their inner artist while parents learn more about TD's commitment to the environment and how they can help.
