SASKATOON, SK, Oct. 14 /CNW/ - Today, TD Waterhouse announced the grand opening of its first Investor Centre in Saskatoon conveniently co-located with a TD Canada Trust branch at 170 2nd Ave South.

"Saskatoon is a dynamic city with a vibrant economy that continues to grow," said Davin Phonsavath, Business Development Manager, TD Waterhouse. "The TD Waterhouse Investor Centre will meet the needs of self-directed investors here in Saskatoon by providing excellent customer service, industry-leading resources, and access to powerful trading tools."

At 4:30 pm today, John See, President of TD Waterhouse Discount Brokerage, and Lyle Chutskoff, District Vice President, TD Canada Trust, were joined by Saskatoon Mayor Donald Atchison to celebrate the grand opening with an official ribbon cutting.

Earlier in the day, a $5,000 donation was presented to the Saskatoon Crisis Nursery, which provides safe homes, clothing, toys, food and medical supplies for children in crisis.

The Investor Centre provides clients free educational seminars, access to powerful trading platforms and industry-leading investment research, real-time market information, and the opportunity to meet knowledgeable TD Waterhouse staff. The centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
