TD Bank Financial Group donates $500,000 to Concordia University - Gift to fund fellowships and scholarships for graduate students at Concordia's John Molson School of Business

MONTREAL, Oct. 20 /CNW Telbec/ - Concordia University is pleased to announce today a $500,000 gift from TD Bank Financial Group. The gift will fund five annual PhD fellowships and five annual master's-level scholarships.

The fellowships-valued at $15,000 each-will be called the TD Bank Financial Group Fellowships in Business Education. The master's-level scholarships-valued at $5,000 each-will be called the TD Bank Financial Group Scholarships in Business Education.

In recognition of the gift, the university will name a third-floor room in the new John Molson School of Business building as the TD Bank Amphitheatre.
