TORONTO, July 5 /CNW/ - This Thursday, July 8th, marks the sixth annual TD Challenge BBQ in support of March of Dimes Canada. Teams of local TD employees will compete to see how many lunches they can sell in an exciting two-hour faceoff. This year's goal is to sell 10,000 meals!

Bruce Turner, host of the W Network's Style By Jury, will host this special event. Bruce will be joined by celebrities including paralympic gold medallist Paul Rosen, sports mascots including Toronto Maple Leafs' Carlton the Bear and Toronto Marlies' Duke the Dog, and guests from TD Bank Financial Group and March of Dimes Canada.

WHEN: Thursday, July 8th, 2010

TIME: 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

WHERE: TD Centre Courtyard (immediately west of Bay and King Streets)

Join us for a fun lunch hour of games, entertainment and a chance to win fabulous prizes! Lunch tickets are $5.00, all proceeds benefit March of Dimes Canada. March of Dimes Summer Lottery tickets also will be on sale for $10.00 at the event. You have the chance to win the vacation of a lifetime - the grand prize is an exciting trip to Australia. Winners will be announced at 1:00 p.m.

March of Dimes Canada is a nationally registered charitable organization providing support services to people with disabilities, their families and caregivers across Canada. It provides a wide range of programs and services to more than 40,000 people annually across the country.
