VANCOUVER, Sept. 15 /CNW/ - TD announced today that Juno Award winning Canadian rock band Arkells will be playing to the first 1,000 students this Thursday at UBC. Concealed from all but a few, TD would not reveal the "show" that was coming to campus in September. Until today, students could only find a few clues in posters and at tdsecretshows.com to guess which band would be performing for free on campus to all ages.

In addition to this free show, UBC students will be able to vote to have a once-in-a-lifetime musical experience in November by visiting tdpumpitup.com. Three winners will be chosen from across the country (one school from Western Canada). The school with the highest percentage of votes based on proportion of student population in its region wins a free concert with Canadian indie rock sensations Metric, OK GO and live-remixing masters Keys N Krates.
