VANCOUVER, Dec. 14 /CNW/ - A long-standing tradition, kids in Vancouver used to wait in line to visit Santa Claus at Woodward's in its glory days, but that tradition ended with the closure of the downtown institution. Now, with the reopening of Woodward's, TD Canada Trust is bringing Santa back for two days only.
Lynda Luxton will be one of the first adults to reunite with Santa to
rekindle the fond memory she had of visiting Santa at Woodward's during
her childhood.

Photo opportunity - Thursday Dec. 16 at 1 p.m. Lynda will see Santa again after 52 years and will show a photo of herself with Santa at age 5. On Thursday and Friday, the public is invited to get a complimentary photo with Santa and to make a donation to the Strathcona Food Reserve for Children. Visitors may order additional photographs through London Drugs. |
