TORONTO, June 29, 2012 /CNW/ - TD Bank Group today announced a donation of $10,000 to help the citizens of Elliot Lake following the Algo Mall collapse.

"This is a very difficult time for our community and customers," said, Melanie Milton, Branch Manager, TD Canada Trust, Elliot Lake. "We hope this donation will help to provide some of the immediate support our community needs."

TD's donation has been made to The Elliot Lake Food Bank to provide much needed supplies and resources to assist those who have been affected by the tragedy, as the City's centrally located grocery store was in the mall. The Elliot Lake Relief Fund has also been set up to help the employees and families of the two victims from this tragedy.
