TORONTO, Sept. 26, 2013 /CNW/ - To mark the $1 million gift, students, faculty and community members will be planting trees in the Rouge Park. The gift will support education and research in the field of urban forest conservation and biology.
The donation will fund a limited term professorship in urban forest conservation and biology, as well as research scholarships in environment science and undergraduate research opportunity fellowships.
