Now it's even more convenient to purchase over 50 foreign currencies and precious metals

VANCOUVER, Nov. 19, 2013 /CNW/ - Travelers will now have the added convenience of being able to quickly and easily purchase foreign currency in downtown Vancouver. Today marks the official opening of TD's new Foreign Exchange Centre, located in the TD Tower at 700 West Georgia Street (at Howe Street) in Pacific Centre.

The Foreign Exchange Centre, a first for TD in Western Canada, will offer customers a convenient way to exchange their money. Having a specific location specializing in the sale of foreign cash and related products makes it easier for customers to meet their currency exchange and travel needs.

"TD is continually looking to raise the bar in finding innovative ways to delight our customers and we're happy to launch the new Foreign Exchange Centre," said Mauro Manzi, Senior Vice President - Pacific Region, TD Bank Group.

TD strives to provide an exceptional customer experience by offering a full suite of services. "Whether you're just going across the border or traveling abroad, financial peace of mind always makes for a better trip, and we're pleased to offer another convenient way to help our customers prepare for those occasions," said Manzi.

"I'm really pleased that we can offer unique services like this, readily available to a broader audience," said Martine Irman, Vice Chair TD Securities, Senior Vice President TD Bank Group. "What's great about this location is that travelers like me can find the currency I need - on demand - before my next flight."

The Foreign Exchange Centre will maintain a broad selection of currencies and precious metals to offer immediate fulfillment of most cash orders to walk-in clients. The convenient location is ideal for those visiting the city, those planning to go cross-border shopping or for those on their way to the Vancouver International Airport (YVR).

The Foreign Exchange Centre will now offer over 50 foreign currencies in addition to precious metals onsite and on demand.
