- Pop-up park coming to Toronto in celebration of TD FEF's 25th anniversary -
TORONTO, June 17, 2015 /CNW/ -
WHAT: |
To mark 25 years of cultivating greener communities, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) is transforming a portion of Church Street into an interactive pop-up park from June 20 until June 21 as part of The Festival in the Village. |
With native grasses, trees, log seating and tables, the park will offer free interactive activities and lawn games, as well as a performance by Sofonda Cox, to encourage visitors to come out and play. |
|
Visitors will also have the chance to help #GreenWhereYouLive by making a donation to TD FEF while at the park or at a local TD bank branch. One hundred per cent of the funds raised will directly support additional greening projects in the community. Elements of the Toronto pop-up park will also be donated to a local organization after the park closes. |
