- Pop-up park coming to Toronto in celebration of TD FEF's 25th anniversary -

TORONTO, June 17, 2015 /CNW/ -

WHAT:

To mark 25 years of cultivating greener communities, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation (TD FEF) is transforming a portion of Church Street into an interactive pop-up park from June 20 until June 21 as part of The Festival in the Village.

With native grasses, trees, log seating and tables, the park will offer free interactive activities and lawn games, as well as a performance by Sofonda Cox, to encourage visitors to come out and play.

Visitors will also have the chance to help #GreenWhereYouLive by making a donation to TD FEF while at the park or at a local TD bank branch. One hundred per cent of the funds raised will directly support additional greening projects in the community. Elements of the Toronto pop-up park will also be donated to a local organization after the park closes.
