- Events taking place at libraries across Canada to encourage kids to "Get Your Summer Read On" -

ST. JOHN'S, June 15, 2017 /CNW/ - TD Summer Reading Club – Canada's biggest bilingual summer reading program for kids of all ages, interests and abilities – is back starting Saturday, June 17. To celebrate, kids and their families are invited to A.C. Hunter Children's Library to be among the first in Canada to enjoy TD Summer Reading Club's exclusive online story, The Lost Dragon, with a live reading from award-winning author Marty Chan. The event is one of many happening across Canada on June 17 to encourage kids to register for the TD Summer Reading Club to get access to free reading resources and activities all summer long.

Designed to inspire kids to explore the fun of reading their way, TD Summer Reading Club is sponsored by TD Bank Group and developed by the Toronto Public Library in partnership with Library and Archives Canada. In 2016, more than 700,000 participated in the TD Summer Reading Club.
