TD donates $50,000 to the Red Cross for disaster relief in British Columbia

TORONTO, July 12, 2017 /CNW/ - TD Bank Group will donate $50,000 to the Canadian Red Cross in support of critical disaster relief efforts for communities affected by the wildfires in British Columbia.
"We are deeply saddened by the devastation caused by the wildfires in British Columbia," says Andrea Barrack, Vice President, Community Relations and Corporate Citizenship, TD Bank Group. "On behalf of our employees and customers, our thoughts are with those affected and their loved ones. We hope that through the emergency assistance of the Red Cross, this donation will provide some immediate support for the impacted communities."
Donations to the relief efforts being supported by the Canadian Red Cross can be made in branches and through EasyLine and EasyWeb starting July 13th. Please indicate that your donation is for the British Columbia Fires Appeal.
