TORONTO, Sept. 17, 2018 /CNW/ - TD Bank Group is proud to be listed in the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index (DJSI) for the fifth consecutive year. The DJSI benchmarks the sustainability performance of leading companies based on environmental, social and economic performance. From a global pool of 259 banks, TD was the only Canadian bank to be included in the short list of 27 banks.

This accomplishment acknowledges the efforts of its over 85,000 employees globally that help make TD a leader in sustainability. TD was recognized for its strong performance in the areas of Customer Relations Management, Eco-Efficiency, Human Capital Development, Tax Strategy, and Labour Practices.
