Damian Johnson and his twin brother, Jermaine have been passionate about hair for their entire lives. That passion turned into No Grease!, a multi-million-dollar business and the nation's first Black-owned barbershop franchise based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The brothers opened their first barbershop in 1997, the barbershop school in 2003, and its first franchise in 2017. Currently, it has 13 locations in four different states and the training school for barbers.

The secret to their success – they provide "more than just a haircut," according to Damian.

"We want our clients to know that they are welcome and that they feel at home," he said.

Damian and Jermaine are aiming even higher for the future with plans to expand nationwide and eventually to Africa. They look forward to working with TD Bank to help them realize their dreams.
