TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, today announced a special Boston Bruins commemorative pin giveaway celebrating 100 years of Boston Bruins hockey.
Starting today through March 24, fans can visit any TD store in Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont to receive their complimentary pin while supplies last.
"As the bank of the Boston Bruins, TD Bank is proud to celebrate such an incredible milestone with some of the most passionate fans in New England and the NHL," said Sheryl McQuade, Regional President of the New England Metro, TD Bank. "As our TD shield lapel pins proudly worn by our colleagues represent the ease, value and guidance TD Bank offers all customers, we are thrilled to share our new Bruins centennial pin with everyone as a wonderful reminder of our decades-long relationship with the Bruins and the important work we continue to do together in support of our shared greater New England community."
At TD Garden, TD cardholders receive free access to the recently opened Boston Bruins Heritage Hall and The Sports Museum through August 2024, as well as 15% off at ProShop powered by ‘47; dedicated fast-lane concession lines at select locations; and a $20 promotional credit when they add their TD card to the TD Garden Hub App. Learn more at TDGarden.com/TDBank.
“It’s an exciting time to be a Boston Bruins fan,” said Glen Thornborough, president of TD Garden and COO of the Boston Bruins. “Being the first team in North America to hit the centennial mark is a tremendous honor. We are grateful to TD Bank for helping us extend the celebration to fans by distributing these pins throughout the region and supporting our mission to bring the game of hockey into the community.”
Supporting Boston and Greater New England Together
Last year, TD extended its naming rights partnership with Delaware North to keep the TD Garden as part of the TD family and renewed its status as the official bank of the Boston Bruins through 2045.
Throughout the season, the bank works with the Bruins to emphasize their shared commitment to the greater Boston and New England communities by providing a variety of unique initiatives, including Opening Night, Fan Appreciation, TD Bank Pass Clinics, Hockey is for Everyone Night and the TD Bank Mini 1-on-1, a youth hockey tournament. The relationship also features TD's Small Business Takeover initiative, where TD Bank donates all digital advertising at TD Garden to a local small business for the duration of one game. Through the TD Bank Community Clubhouse initiative, TD Bank and the Bruins host community-based organizations with blocks of complimentary tickets at multiple games.
With the partnership extension, TD Bank committed more than $15 million in community programming to make the arts more accessible and inclusive. Through Access the Arts powered by TD Bank, two new community programs were created: “TD Guest List” provides complimentary tickets to TD Garden experiences each year to a nominated individual or group from an underserved or underrepresented community, while “TD Garden House Artist” commissions local artists from underrepresented communities to create transformative art in and around TD Garden.
