CHERRY HILL, N.J., April 28, 2022 – TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank, announced today that it will collaborate with FISPAN, a leading North American fintech, to embed TD Commercial banking products and services into Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and accounting software for Commercial customers to automate cash management processes, creating an integrated digital tool to help businesses manage their payments and financial information with the bank.

This is TD Bank's latest push into embedded banking experiences for its commercial banking customers with the goal of driving efficiency.

Businesses of all sizes across all industries use ERP and accounting systems to manage their businesses. The embedded banking system will bring TD products and services directly into the business' ERP systems and accounting software to support payments, reporting and reconciliation.

"We're very excited to roll this new service out as a pilot with a full launch planned for summer," said Paul Margarites, Head of U.S. Commercial Digital Platforms for TD. "These embedded banking plug-ins are a big win for our customers requiring no technology resources to install and operate."

This innovation is the next step in TD Bank's strategy to bring new solutions directly to commercial customers to create an easier, more sophisticated banking experience with features inspired by consumer banking tools.

"The commercial banking landscape has shifted, and our commercial customers desire convenience and comprehensive solutions," said Chris Giamo, Head of Commercial Banking at TD Bank. "This innovation was accelerated by the global pandemic and the need for easier to use, more accessible technology. These tools are a business imperative and TD is proud to be an innovator in this space, serving our customers."

FISPAN’s contextual business banking platform makes it simple for banks to offer commercial banking services embedded within ERP and business applications.

“We are thrilled to be working with TD Bank and cannot wait to delight the business clientele they serve,” says Clayton Weir, FISPAN CEO. “We believe taking the banking experience into their clients' operational software is the perfect way to continue to be America's Most Convenient Bank today and into the future.”
