TORONTO, March 10 /CNW/ - TD Bank Financial Group today released its eighth annual Corporate Responsibility Report. Titled "Building on Our Commitments" the report profiles TD's role as an active corporate citizen and includes information about its community, social, environmental, and economic impacts and performance.

"We take corporate responsibility as seriously as every other part of our business," said Ed Clark, President and CEO, TD Bank Financial Group. "It touches everything we do - from serving our customers to managing our operations to supporting community causes and issues. Corporate responsibility goes beyond making donations particularly during tough economic times. It's about helping one child, one family, one community at a time. That's what making a difference together is about."

The 2009 Corporate Responsibility Report complements TD's 2009 Annual Report to Shareholders and demonstrates TD's dedication to being a transparent and accountable organization.
