ST. JOHN'S, Dec. 6, 2011 /CNW/ - For the 17th consecutive year, TD is asking Newfoundlanders to support Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for 14 children's hospitals across Canada. TD will help make miracles happen this December by matching donations, up to $1 million, to support your community's local Children's Miracle Network member hospital.
To launch this year's initiative, on December 8, Janeway Children's Health & Rehabilitation Centre Patient Ambassador, Carter Penney, will be at the TD Canada Trust Bank Branch in TD Place on Water Street to break a large piggy bank and encourage Newfoundlanders to donate on December 9th and throughout the year. Funds raised will support Janeway Children's Health & Rehabilitation Centre.
