TD is bringing their story to a bigger stage through its new small business spotlight series at the TD Amp Ballantyne. The spotlights are held during entertainment and community gatherings at the venue, where featured businesses receive recognition on stage during a performance, the opportunity to set up a vendor table, mentions on TD Amp social media and more.
For the 2026 season, TD selected clients Prochant, Dual Image Dentistry and America In Motion to show a different side of Charlotte's momentum — from patient care and healthcare operations to the automation systems helping manufacturers move more efficiently.
How three small businesses reflect Charlotte's expansion
Dentists (and twins) Dr. Lindsey Salone and Dr. Lauren Lockhart of Dual Image Dentistry have built the practice's reputation on comprehensive, patient-focused dental care. Its name reflects a double purpose: treating oral health needs while also helping patients feel more confident in their overall image.
The practice offers restorative, cosmetic, emergency and preventive dentistry, including same-day treatment. But its identity goes beyond clinical services. Known online as "The Twintists," the sisters have built a large following on social media, where they educate patients, make dental care feel more approachable and stay connected to the city where they grew up.
“It brings great honor to serve my school classmates and teachers, church members, neighbors, and to meet and help new patients meet their dental needs in my practices,” Dr. Salone said.
Prochant's solutions are built to run behind the scenes by using technology to solve complex problems. The company helps home healthcare providers, including home medical equipment and specialty pharmacy organizations, get paid more efficiently.
Joey Graham, CEO of Prochant, said the company’s distinction comes from its specialized focus, proprietary technology and experienced global workforce.

America In Motion represents another complex industry: manufacturing and automation. The company builds automated vehicle systems that move products and materials through factories and warehouses. It also trains its customers to manage and expand those systems as their needs evolve.
The company designs and fabricates its systems in Charlotte whenever possible to contribute to the local manufacturing economy. According to Theresa Blasius, Executive Vice President at America In Motion, their mission is simple: help American manufacturers remain competitive by making automation more accessible, flexible and practical.
These businesses operate in different industries, but they share something in common: they are helping Charlotte grow by solving problems, creating opportunities and serving their communities. Those contributions are why TD selected Dual Image Dentistry, Prochant and America In Motion for this year's TD Amp small business spotlight.

Joey pointed to the region’s increasing number of professionals in healthcare, finance, technology and operations as areas that also are important to the company’s expansion. Charlotte’s connectivity and business ecosystem have also helped Prochant build relationships while supporting a national client base and global team.
These factors have made Charlotte a strong headquarters base for America in Motion, which serves customers across the country. The region's continued expansion has fueled demand for automated systems as manufacturers and distributors look for ways to scale their operations and improve efficiency.
Still, these opportunities can increase pressures on small businesses to compete for talent, cope with rising local prices and keep pace with technology.

The TD Amp spotlight program helps local businesses connect with new audiences and celebrate their role in Charlotte's success with a bigger platform.
