15 events to check out during Black History Month
• Jan 29, 2026

February is Black History Month in Canada. For nearly 20 years, TD has supported Black History Month initiatives, which honour and celebrate Black heritage, culture, and legacy across North America.

This year, the Bank is celebrating Black artistry and creativity by supporting organizations from different parts of Canada that will host art exhibits, concerts, film screenings, and panel discussions during the month of February and beyond.

Funding support for these programs and events is through the TD Ready Commitment, the Bank's corporate citizenship platform.

"Arts and culture play a pivotal role in the Black community. They connect generations and help communities feel a sense of pride," said Scott Belton, Senior Vice President, Specialized Sales and co-chair of the TD Black Employee Network.

“As an ally, I understand the importance of supporting organizations that help to elevate the voices and stories of the community.”

If you're interested in experiencing Black artistry and creativity, or learning more about Black culture in Canada, attending a Black History Month event is a great place to start.

Here is a list of some of the arts and cultural events that will mark Black History Month in 2026, based on details provided by organizations supported by the TD Ready Commitment:
