TD ranks No. 1 in service among top five Canadian banks for third consecutive year

Customers say TD Canada Trust is tops in 7 of 11 categories, according to Synovate TORONTO, Aug. 28 /CNW/ - Global market research firm Synovate has announced the latest results from its annual Customer Service Index (CSI) survey for customer service excellence among the Top 5 banks in Canada - and the winner is TD Canada Trust. This year's survey was conducted among a sample of 17,500 Canadians from July to mid-August 2007 and ranked the top five banks in eleven categories. TD Canada Trust won the top award in seven of them, including: - Overall Quality of Customer Service - Would Recommend to Family and Friends - Branch Access and Convenience - Information Handling and Communications - Financial Products and Services - Automated Banking Machines in general - Online Banking in General "We are absolutely thrilled with this year's results. Synovate points out that this year's results indicate the top five banks in Canada continue to improve their performance in meeting customers' needs, and it shows in their business results.
