New branch to meet increasing needs of B.C.'s second-largest city
SURREY, BC, Oct. 13 /CNW/ - As part of its commitment to building a
strong presence in Canada's many diverse and growing communities, TD Canada
Trust today announced the grand opening of its branch located at 5606 152nd
Street, at the corner of 152nd and Hwy. 10 in Surrey. The new branch offers a
wide array of products and services and access to three Financial Service
Representatives, a Financial Advisor and a TD Waterhouse Financial Planner,
all dedicated to helping customers meet their financial goals.
"This new branch confirms TD Canada Trust's ongoing commitment to
providing face-to-face service and a terrific customer experience," said
Kamini Stewart, Branch Manager. "Surrey's bustling economy, natural beauty,
and rich cultural opportunities have led to incredible growth. In fact,
thousands of people are moving into new homes being built every year in this
fast growing community, and we're delighted to be here to serve all of their
banking needs."
The new 5,500 square foot branch has been designed and built taking into
consideration the accessibility needs of our customers. It also features
twelve private sit-down areas as well as a full-service vestibule Green
Machine ABM, which is accessible 24 hours a day.
Joining TD Canada Trust's Kerry Peacock, Senior Vice President, Pacific
Region, Joan McCarthy, District Vice President, The Valley, and Kamini
Stewart, Branch Manager, were Councillor Marvin Hunt (Acting Mayor for
Surrey), Gary Holick, President of Surrey Board of Trade, Sonia Virk,
President of the Indo-Canadian Business Association, Sheila Morissette,
Principle, Sullivan Heights Secondary School, Pam Gill, President of the
Sullivan Heights Parent Advisory Council, and special guest Jerry Hayes,
founder of the Rodeo Drive-In, which was originally located on the site of the
new branch.
Kamini Stewart presented Sheila Morissette and Pam Gills with a donation
of $1000, on behalf of TD Canada Trust, to the Sullivan Heights Secondary
School Dry Grad Program, a program dedicated to providing a fun but safe and
secure environment for the Sullivan Heights Grade 12 Grads of 2008.
Featuring TD Canada Trust's new extended hours: the branch is open from
Monday to Wednesday, 8am-6pm, Thursday to Friday, 8am-8pm, and Saturday
8am-4pm.
