SURREY, BC, Oct. 25 /CNW/ - As part of its commitment to building a strong presence in Canada's many diverse and growing communities, TD Canada Trust today announced the grand opening of its second new location and 10th branch in Surrey at 2411 160th Street. The grand opening festivities included a $5,000 donation to BC Nature, Federation of BC Naturalists, the kick off for a draw for two bicycles, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation reusable shopping bags for the first 50 customers, children's activities and refreshments. "Customers tell us that they like the option of being able to talk to someone in person and have someone available to listen to their needs, which this new branch will help achieve," said Andy Wu, Branch Manager. "The fact that this is our second new location in Surrey this year is testament that we're committed to providing our customers with a comfortable banking experience. And, the TD Canada Trust famous longer hours and award-winning customer service don't hurt either!" Situated in Surrey's thriving Morgan Creek area, the new location offers a full array of personal and small business products and services as well as one full-time Financial Planner, one Financial Advisor and two Financial Services Representatives. This new branch is dedicated to helping customers reach their financial goals while providing a comfortable experience. Today at 12:00 p.m., Raymond Chun, Senior Vice President, Pacific Region, TD Canada Trust, Silvia Livingston, District Vice President, Richmond/Surrey/Delta District, TD Canada Trust and Andy Wu, Branch Manager were on hand to celebrate the grand opening with an official ribbon cutting and cheque presentation. As part of TD Canada Trust's extended hours, branch hours are 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Wednesday; 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, Thursday and Friday and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Saturday. The new 5,000 square foot branch is wheelchair accessible and features one full-service Green Machine ABM which is available 24 hours per day.
