  • TD Bank Group joins the historic Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival in Port Colborne helping residents and festival attendees capture memories with friends and family this long weekend

PORT COLBORNE, ON, July 26, 2011 /CNW/ - Looking for something to do this long weekend? The Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival offers activities and attractions that will delight the senses and TD will be onsite to help capture every memorable moment.

A recent TD poll found that when it comes to spending time with friends and family, 78% of Hamilton-Niagara residents say that having memories of the day with pictures and video are important when it comes to enjoying a summer festival. And TD Bank Group promises to make that even easier this year. The TD Comfort Crew will be bringing a new and unique way to help capture memories during this event by allowing attendees to create their own TD Flipbook. The TD Flipbook is a collection of photos captured from a seven-second video that will be put together in a book and give the illusion of animation when you flip through it.

"We are really excited to bring this innovative and unique photo experience to this year's Canal Days Marine Heritage Festival," says Jiuliano Ciardelli, District Vice President, TD Canada Trust for the Greater Hamilton Area. "We have been a part of this community as a business and supporter for many years, and this opportunity allows us to give back to the community where so many of our customers and employees work and live."

Beginning on July 29 through August 1, TD Bank Group will be onsite with the TD Comfort Crew and "TD" the beloved mascot providing a photo experience, which will provide a fun, unique and memorable souvenir.
