VANCOUVER, Dec. 6, 2011 /CNW/ - For the 17th consecutive year, TD is asking British Columbians to support Children's Miracle Network, a non-profit organization dedicated to saving and improving the lives of children by raising funds for 14 children's hospitals across Canada. TD will help make miracles happen this December by matching donations, up to $1 million, to support local Children's Miracle Network member hospitals.
To launch this year's initiative, on December 8, BC Children's Hospital patient, 18 month old Kaitlyn Morovic, and her older brother Nico, will be in the TD Canada Trust Branch on West King Edward Avenue to break large piggy banks to encourage Vancouverites to donate on December 9th and throughout the year. Funds raised will support BC Children's Hospital Foundation.
