TORONTO, Aug. 6, 2014 /CNW/ - TD Asset Management Inc. (TDAM), the manager of TD Mutual Funds announced changes to the TD U.S. Equity Portfolio and TD U.S. Equity Currency Neutral Portfolio (the "Portfolios") effective July 28, 2014.

The TD U.S. Low Volatility Fund and TD U.S. Quantitative Equity Fund have been added to the Portfolios, while exposure to the TD U.S. Blue Chip Equity Fund and the Epoch U.S. Large-Cap Value Fund1 has been reduced to allow for the new allocations.

The changes provide the Portfolios with greater diversification across sectors and investment styles to enhance performance potential in a variety of market conditions and help reduce the expected volatility of the Portfolios when equity markets are under pressure.

Additionally, TDAM announced it has chosen to charge a lower management fee than the management fee set out in the prospectus for each Portfolio. While the maximum management fee remains unchanged, TDAM has chosen to charge a lower management fee on the Portfolios, as outlined below:
