To keep you up to date with all of the ways you can bank wherever and whenever with TD, here are four things you may have not realized you can do with the TD app.

1. You can deposit cheques online from your mobile device.

When you're registered for mobile banking, you can securely deposit cheques from any Canadian financial institution using the TD app. You can immediately deposit cheques to your account as soon as you receive them.

2. You can temporarily lock your TD credit card if you've misplaced it.

If you're certain you cannot find your credit card because it is lost or stolen, the first thing you must do is immediately report the loss or theft to TD. But if you think you've only misplaced your TD credit card, you can use the TD app to temporarily lock your account from being used for any in-person credit card charges. Once you locate your card, you can easily lift the temporary lock through the TD app.

3. You can send money to your family and friends globally.

Through the Western Union® Money Transfer℠ feature available with TD, you can now transfer money to family and friends in over 200 countries and territories across the world through a network of 500,000 Western Union® locations online or through your TD app. It's quick and easy, and your loved ones will receive the funds within hours1.

4. You can have many of your everyday questions about your TD bank accounts answered anytime.

Have a question about when your next credit card payment is due or how much you spent at your favourite store last month? Chatbots, like TD Clari™, can help provide information you need about your spending. TD Clari can provide quick answers to common questions received by our customer service teams, including inquiries about nearby branch locations or exchange rates.

So, how do you get started with the TD app?

You can download the TD app on your mobile device within minutes. If you are already registered for EasyWeb, no additional registration is required – you will only need your Access Card number and EasyWeb password to login to your accounts through the TD app. If you haven't registered from an EasyWeb account, you can do so on the secure EasyWeb site.

What else can you do with mobile banking?

Once registered, you can complete many of your everyday banking needs from home, such as:

  • View your account balances, transaction history and TD Credit Card account information
  • Send money with Interac e-Transfer®
  • Make Canadian bill payments
  • Locate a TD branch, Investor Centre or ATM
