Encouraging more women to consider a career in capital markets is a priority across the financial services industry. As one of the only women on her team when she started her own career in capital markets, TD's Sharon Kim made a commitment to increase the number of women in her field.

As global head of foreign exchange sales for TD Securities, Kim has broken gender and diversity barriers to reach the senior ranks in capital markets. She has established herself as a fearless change agent, both in the way she approaches her business and in how she builds her team, and has recently been recognized for her contributions by being named one of Canada's Most Powerful Women.

Watch the video above as Kim speaks about her commitment to increasing the role of women in her field and why she will keep going until there's greater representation through the ranks.
