Cherry Hill, N.J., October 6, 2021 – TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank® is pleased to announce its selection as a Top Team as part of American Banker’s 2021 Most Powerful Women program. American Banker released their annual Most Powerful Women in Banking rankings today, which recognized Marla Willner, Head of Commercial Credit Management, as one of The Most Powerful Women to Watch for the third year in a row. In a special recognition for 2021, America Banker also named Anita O'Dell, Chief Auditor, among this year's Standouts, recognizing extraordinary leaders in specific types of roles that have taken on outsize importance in recent times.

Following this recognition, TD Bank's Top Team in Banking and individual honorees will be acknowledged at an in-person industry gala in New York on October 21 at the GlassHouse.

"I'm extremely proud to celebrate these incredible TD leaders and the talent, passion and expertise they bring to TD every day," said Greg Braca, President and CEO, TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank. "Their commitment to enhancing customer experiences, enriching our communities and shaping the next generation of leaders is critical to growth and success in achieving our mission to build the Better Bank."

"This phenomenal team represents the broader organization of women at TD who are driving change in business and diversity," said Marla Willner, Head of Commercial Credit Management and Executive Sponsor of Women in Leadership. "Many of these women, in addition to their day jobs, have worked tirelessly to pay it forward creating programs like L.E.A.D. for employee mentorship and Career Relaunch which provides opportunities for women to re-enter the workforce. This award is not just about these individuals. It is about the opportunities TD provides for women to thrive."

American Banker’s Most Powerful Women in Banking program recognizes the professional achievements and influence of the top-performing female executives in banking and financial services. The annual program, now in its 19th year, recognizes leaders in multiple lists: The Most Powerful Women in Banking, The Most Powerful Women to Watch, The Most Powerful Women in Finance, Top Teams and — in a special recognition for 2021 — Standouts.
