2019 TD Pride
• Apr 11, 2018

Every day, people face discrimination and bullying at school, at work, in their community or online. In fact, research suggests that at least one in three adolescent students in Canada have reported being bullied recently, and 40 per cent of workers in Canada experience bullying on a weekly basis. Alarmingly, the rate of discrimination and bullying experienced among students who identify as gay, lesbian or bisexual is three times higher than heterosexual youth, and almost all transgender students have been verbally harassed.

As the world celebrates the International Day of Pink to end bullying, discrimination, homophobia, transphobia, and transmisogyny, TD will continue standing alongside the LGBTQ2+ community as we do every day of the year, because we are #ForeverPoud.

Watch the video to find out why TD employees feel comfortable being their authentic selves, 365 days a year.
