Arlington Hero
• May 14, 2025

Eugene Bryant, Group Manager, Senior Financial Crime Risk Manager at TD Bank and proud Air Force veteran, and his work colleagues have shown up each year since 2013 on Memorial Day to place flowers on the graves of military service members in Arlington National Cemetery.

Eugene and his colleagues work with the Memorial Day Flowers Foundation (MDFF), honoring the sacrifices of veterans and showing gratitude to their families.

"There are countless heroes laid to rest here who've given and paid the ultimate sacrifice," Eugene said. "It is an honor for us to pass out flowers to help celebrate who these people were and the contributions they made to our country."

The team of volunteers last year were joined by Leo Salom, President and CEO of TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank, who was proud to attend the event. "Standing among the endless rows of headstones at Arlington National Cemetery, I was profoundly moved by the silent testimony to the courage and sacrifice of our nation’s fallen heroes," Leo said. "Their legacy endures, not in words, but in the freedom, they preserved for all of us."
