Supporting Aspiring Filmmakers Through the Chelsea Film Festival Screenwriting Incubator

Meet Ingrid Jean-Baptiste, television producer and founder of the Chelsea Film Festival. The 2023 Chelsea Film Festival Screenwriting Incubator sponsored solely by TD Ready Commitment, is dedicated to supporting 10 outstanding NY-based BIPOC screenwriter-directors and aligns to TD Bank's Connected Communities pillar. During six months, BIPOC filmmakers will work on their 1-5 minute live-action short films. Participants will attend workshop meetings with a professional mentor, film their project, and screen their completed work at the Chelsea Film Festival’s 11th Edition this fall. One short film will be selected as the winner and awarded a grant from TD for their future project.
