Protecting Farmers and Strengthening Food Security in Maine

The Maine Farmland Trust was a 2022 TD Ready Challenge winner and TD client connected to their Vibrant Planet pillar. Maine Farmland Trust protects farmland, supports farmers and advances the future of farming. Farmers are on the front lines of climate change: their livelihoods and the food security of our communities are directly impacted by climate change. With funding from the TD Ready Challenge, Maine Farmland Trust is working with dozens of Maine farms to implement climate resilience strategies and infrastructure that strengthen Maine’s agricultural roots and food security.
