TD Bank's announcement that it intends to acquire First Horizon will augment the bank's position in key growth locations like the Southeastern U.S. and set the brand up to be a leading national player in commercial banking.
But on top of an already legendary business model, TD Bank is unique in the culture it creates for its colleagues from all walks of life.
We asked TD colleagues why they love working here and they had a lot of special things to say.
From Glenda Figueroa, Assistant Store Manager in Coral Gables, Florida, to Sophia McKenzie, a bank Teller in Orlando, Florida, the consensus was they "love working at TD."
"[I love] the people I work with," Sophia said. "When I come to work, I have fun."
In addition to having fun, there's a culture of acceptance and care.
"Everybody's welcome from all races, all sexes," said Nabiha Kahn, Financial Services Representative out of Bellmawr, New Jersey. "As someone who's from the LGBTQ Community, that was so important to me. [A bank] that's proud to include all these types of people in their team."
