TD Salutes our Customers, Communities and Colleagues

TD Bank is proud to bring you Backbone of our Economy, a compilation of inspiring stories on how our customers, colleagues and communities are rebuilding together amid the ongoing effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

From frontline healthcare workers and activists to empowering bakers and family-owned coffee brewers, we're in this together and we'll get through this together.

Over the coming weeks, we'll continue to bring you fresh and invigorating stories about nonprofits and small businesses that continue to teach us all about true grit and tenacity.

Our latest stories include TheaterWorks and how the "Off-Broadway theater's" artistic director will stop at nothing to make sure the show goes on, and Circle Furniture, a 70-year-old local business doing what it can for its 50 employees during this troubling time.

The TD Bank community, from our neighborhood tellers to Greg Braca, our President and CEO, is extremely proud to serve these and all out customers. We understand the tremendous impact COVID-19 is having on them, their families, and their daily lives.

This unprecedented crisis affects all of us on a deeply personal level. In the toughest of times, we’ve had the privilege to witness amazing acts of compassion across many walks of life. TD Bank is committed to playing its part in the recovery effort. Through it all, we want you to know that we are united in our efforts to extend a helping-hand to our customers, to their communities, and to our colleagues across TD.

Collectively, you are the Backbone of our Economy.

We're here for our small business customers, the vibrant core working in small towns, cities, sprawling suburbs and rural areas alike.

We're here for the heroes on the front lines - from healthcare workers and first responders to community leaders, grocery store cashiers and postal workers - you are the reason we still have access to essential goods and services. You all play a crucial role in helping contain the virus.

To our TD Bank colleagues who are servicing our customers, as well as their families and loved ones - we are proud and humbled by your empathy and considerate acts of kindness.

We hope you'll continue to visit the Backbone of our Economy, where you'll be able to see and read the amazing stories, updated each week, told through the eyes of our customers, community partners, and colleagues.
